James Hetherington obtained his law degree from the University of Arizona College of Law in 1990, and a Bachelor in Arts in English from California State University, Northridge, in 1986. He joined the firm in 2007 after 17 years of practice in San Francisco, representing corporations, small businesses and individuals as both plaintiffs and defendants in litigated matters throughout Northern California.
Mr. Hetherington has extensive experience representing parties in catastrophic injury, employment, and construction defect disputes, and has tried cases in San Francisco and Alameda counties. He is a longtime member of the University of San Francisco Law School Inns of Court, and has appeared as a speaker on employment litigations panels. He also serves as a court-appointed arbitrator for the San Francisco Superior Court.
