Charles Perkins is a partner in the law firm. He graduated magna cum laude from the University of California, Hastings College of Law in 1992, where he served on the Hastings Law Journal. He earned the American Jurisprudence Award in both Contract Law and Agency and Partnership. Mr. Perkins received his B.A. degree from the University of California at San Diego, graduating magna cum laude.
During Mr. Perkins' first year of practice, he served as judicial clerk to Malcolm Lucas, then Chief Justice of the California Supreme Court. Mr. Perkins now leads the firm's appellate practice. In addition, he specializes in employment litigation and regularly handles complex commercial and unfair business practices cases, along with personal injury matters.
Mr. Perkins is an experienced trial attorney, having tried several cases to verdicts before juries. Mr. Perkins has also appeared before the justices of the California Court of Appeal, Sixth and First Appellate Districts, as well as the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. He co-authored "Basic Filing Deadlines For California Employment Discrimination Cases," and was a consultant to the editors of Wrongful Employment Termination Practice (2nd ed. CEB 1997).
