Robert Hamilton joined the firm’s partnership after 10 years as a partner in his own San Francisco litigation firm. He has substantial jury trial experience and has tried cases in San Francisco, Alameda, Contra Costa, Marin, Placer, Butte and Los Angeles Counties.
Mr. Hamilton handles a variety of cases including professional malpractice claims involving dentists, chiropractors and podiatrists. Additionally, Mr. Hamilton has experience with complex multi-party mass disaster losses as well as environmental/pollution claims. He also has handled matters involving personal injury, construction defect, sexual misconduct and the Americans With Disabilities Act.
In addition to his trial work, Mr. Hamilton has received formal training as a mediator and conducts an active mediation practice. He mediates a wide range of disputes, primarily focusing on professional negligence and personal injury matters.
Mr. Hamilton is a 1979 magna cum laude graduate of Providence College, Providence, Rhode Island. He graduated in 1984 from the University of San Diego School of Law, where he received the American Board of Trial Advocates Award for Outstanding Achievement in Trial Advocacy.
